Kabin Kids

The Kabin Kids are children of pre-school (starting at 3 years of age) through kindergarten age. They meet on Wednesday evening during the Midweek Service. Their program includes Bible stories, crafts and a snack!

Patch the Pirate

The "Patch the Pirate" clubs were started by Ron Hamilton. He found that he had a rare form of cancer that took the eyesight in one eye. While in the hospital the nurses teased him about being a pirate since he was wearing a patch. He was a Christian at that time and wanted the Lord glorified even in this unfortunate incident. He and his family are actually the "Club" named "Patch the Pirate" because of the patch that Ron himself had to wear. They supply materials for the growing patch clubs nationwide keeping everything Christ centered. He makes up the plays with the music - all original. It is a family affair - all of the Hamilton act out plays on audio tapes for children.

Fellowship Baptist Church hosts a Patch the Pirate club for children in first grade through sixth grades. The club meets Wednesday evening during the midweek service meeting - 7:00 - 8:15 PM.

The lessons concentrate on a monthly Godly character trait. The Bible lessons, music, and memory verses revolve around that character trait. A workbook enourages the children to develop the pattern of daily devotions. Once a month the children put on a skit and sing in the morning service, and in June they put on a concert for our congregation and at the local Nursing home.

Walk-in-the-Light

Walk-in-the-Light is a fellowship group for Junior and Senior High young people. In addition to their weekly lesson and prayer time during the midweek service, they have monthly afterglows in the homes of our congregation and frequent social activities. These young people and their sponsors also serve the Lord by writing and producing puppet skits for Sunday School and our annual Daily Vacation Bible School, evangelism outings, and work projects at the church and for shut-ins.

SUMMER DVBS

Daily Vacation Bible School is an exciting, action packed week at Fellowship Baptist Church. There are Bible lessons, crafts, contests, prizes, songs and much more for all ages from pre-school through high school.  Our 2007 Wild West Witness  is over and plans are in progress for next year's program.  See the DVBS page for more information.
